MARINE TECHNOLOGY - UNDERWATER WIRELESS INTERCOMMUNICATION


Type : EU cofunding - Project : 1 Million Euro



Aim : Listen- Speak with a standard breathing mouthpiece



-  Co-ordination of the project to develop an underwater wireless intercom system with an standard diving breathing mouthpiece, using the "bone conduction" principle.

- It is possible to listen to music, or words, sentences or pronounce them

- There is no mask to wear.

- Wireless communication between divers and divers to surface boat.

- As a showcase, the partnership has developed, with France Telecom and Certicom International the first ever GSM/Diver platform .

This platform allows a bidirectional communication between :

-  a person standing on a boat or any place whether near or thousand of miles away , equipped with an ordinary GSM cellphone and

- a diver evolving at 50 meter depth under seawater.



ELECTRICAL MOTORS- ACTUATORS - TECHNOLOGY


Type : EU cofunding - Project : 1. 5 Million Euro



Aim of the project: permanent magnet brushless -sensorless electrical motors



- Development of 2 brushless- sensorless electrical motors (300 W) for fan system of aeroplane and  10 (kW) for mini-submarines propulsion.

Weight is lessen. Sensors are absent of the motors although the different operating status are provided.

Efficiency is up to  45 % gain on power consumption for propulsion.



LINGUISTIC & SEMANTIC TECHNOLOGY


Type : EU cofunding - Project : 2 Million Euro



Aim of the project: Semantic search engine in 4 languages for Internet



* Co-ordination of the R&D project to develop  4 interactive semantic search engine to use on Internet or PCs.

* The  4 languages are French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese. 

* The innovative expected performances are based on the technological leadership of SMEs having their product installed on over 200 million PCs.

* Extension is planned for  7 other languages (Czech, Chinese, English, German, Greek, Russian, Spanish)




WASTE VALUE ADDITION TECHNOLOGY


Type : EU cofunding - Project : 3.5 Million Euro (In partnership with JVI)



Aim of the project: transform olive oil waste into useful biopolymers and financial revenues for waste producers.



* Collecting the waste of olive oil producers.d'huile d'olives.

*  Realisation of innovative devices  (including supercritic technology ) to absorb useful molecules to employ in the pharmaceutical and plastic industries.

* The devices are being used on the waste production sites for the benefit of the olive producers, hence avoiding costly transport of yearly million of tons of  the non-friendly waste.
